Re: AI Vehicles

Thinking further down the line, does this mean that Harriers and F-35Bs could use the system as well? well with some rewriting yes, but I thing that is something for the AI helicopter thread in the forum and not the AI Cars topic by John ;) Yep my fault there, should have read the thread name and n...

Re: How do you plan your projects?

Everybody has a right to their opinion about FS9.

However, people seem to be losing track about this thread and what Sean needs.
If people want to start a what if/future thread in a general forum that is perfectly fine, but please allow this thread for it's original purpose.

Re: Captain Sim C-130: Is it still worth getting?

Having read your post a couple of times my gut feeling is that you already know the answer. You don't seem really happy spending the money to fly retro aircraft. The answer is more favourable for you if you were on P3D. Maybe the question should be are you planning to move to another sim in a relati...

Re: How do you plan your projects?

Tim, Nothing you said there gives me cause to disagree. I think that a lot of what you say is in tune with what I said I replied to Andy. I am not somebody who is going to say FS9 must be supported for all time. I think here though, we have to stay focused on what Sean asked. At this moment in time ...

Re: Sikorsky S-92 Helicopters

Dan, The only bit of info that I was able to glean was that 443 had responsibility for equipping the Pacific Fleet frigates and 423 had responsibility for equipping the Atlantic fleet. Presumably that means one of two helos each. IF, and I can't say for certain that the plan was followed, then 9 wou...

Re: How do you plan your projects?

Andy, Just to keep you in the loop here. There has been various discussions over the years about what sims should be supported, what sims should be dropped - and if so when. Once the somewhat massive project by a few guys here to convert everything to P3D here was completed there would in all likeli...

Re: Thoughts on the next project

I seem to have dropped into a game of 20 questions.

Come on guys. You know that John has a new project in mind. You know he always delivers, and you know that he always says ahead of time time what it is. So at least give him some elbow room here. :)

Re: Sikorsky S-92 Helicopters

The only I found was an article some time ago that stated that the government announced that 9x CH-148s would be based on the west coast which I take to mean 443 Sqn. Whether or not they eventually got all 9, I don't know.and Scramble is of no use as it just lists most of them as 12 Wing which all 3...

Re: AI Transall C-160

Unfortunately we are unable to convert the Transall as nobody has permission from Fernando to convert any of his models and he has left the scene.
We always endeavour to honour everybody's work and their rights so we do not touch anything that we do not have permission to do so.

Re: How do you plan your projects?

I think that in my experience in working with people like JY the first thing to do is see how big a scope your project could possibly be and either limit it or break it down into smaller projects. What I mean here is how many versions of a model are there? Then if you multiply that by the number of ...
